We get email about dogs who need homes. If we could, we would take them all home with us. We cannot. So --

We post dogs who need homes. If you have a home and want to invite some of these dogs into it, we will be glad. No dog should be without a home.

To submit a dog in need of a home, please email us using the subject line "adopt." It has to say that. We get a lot of spam. We need to be able to spot you. Some dogs who have been placed in the past:

Los Angeles 08.02.04 : Adopt Lucky

Lucky needs a home. He is a Pitt Bull mix, possibly a Ridgeback Pitt mix. He was found in the street in not very good shape as a puppy.

Lucky was housed by a rescue worker, placed twice, and returned twice because he had "too much energy." He is very sweet and loving with people, but fearful of large men. He is not good with small animals and should not be trusted around cats. He needs training. His age now is estimated at approximately a year and a half.

Los Angeles 04.19.04 [06.05.04 update: these puppies are adopted yay!]

"These two puppies appeared at the gate of my warehouse two weeks ago.

"I am desperately trying to find them a home. They are a mix, one male (off white) one female. They are very sweet, friendly and affectionate. Seem to be in good health.

"If you know anyone who might be looking to adopt or has info regarding a shelter that might take them, please forward the info. Thanks. Brad."
